Overview:
The Cross-Cutting Themes Working Group at the Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO) cordially invites you to attend the launch of the PAHO-commissioned Review of Equity and Health Inequalities in the Americas. The event will include a presentation of the aims and focus of the Review by the Commission Chair, Professor Sir Michael Marmot. The panelists – pre-eminent Regional experts in the fields of gender, ethnicity, equity, human rights and the social and environmental determinants of health – will discuss how each of these themes interact and influence health and well-being.
